The Master in Social Policy and Community Mediation is presented as a research proposal and professionalizing built from addressing public policy and community mediation. This training proposal combines the acquisition of knowledge and skills with the participation of academic and professional staff and uses the casework for a complex and participatory approach to the reality of the territory.

This course 2015-2016, el Máster se consolida como título interuniversitario* en su octava edición, con la participación de la de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona a través del IGOP (Instituto de Gobierno y Políticas Públicas), University of Barcelona, University of Lleida, University of Girona, UVic and the University Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona).
As for the organization of the Master. Each university integrates the development of the curriculum of his field of competence providing a decentralized, multidisciplinary perspective on teaching and research, addressing various areas of knowledge around social action, social policies, mediation, community development and urban planning, inter alia. These areas of knowledge are realized based on the organization of experiences and visits to specific projects that are addressed from the case analysis methodology.
Each of the participating universities brings to the organization of the Master a case about an issue or problem, combining a visit to a territorially close experience with the literature and support for / the alumni / ae for analysis.
* It is working for the program to become an official Master in future editions. For editing 2015-2016 will remain its own master.
